Birth Certificate vs. Driver’s License Catch-22 … Count-Down of Silly Rules from the BBC2011 Contest – #3

In Virginia you must have a certified copy of your birth certificate to get your driver’s license.  If you are over 18 in Virginia, you must have a state-issued driver’s license to get your birth certificate!

My daughter’s bank charged her a fee because she didn’t have a direct deposit to her account.  So she set up a direct deposit. Now the bank charges her a convenience fee for using the account!

Is there a reason the sign says one must not take indecent or defamatory photographs? Did someone really do that?!
Additional Rule: “It is necessary to obtain special permit from the Archaeological Service in order to take photographs or to film with a tripod.”
